Day 01: Arrival to Paro

On arrival at Paro airport, our representative from our company will greet you and assist in escorting you to the closest accommodation. an afternoon, followed by a visit.

Day 02: Paro festival (Tshechu) – Thimphu (54km, 01 hour)

After breakfast, drive to the 1646-built Paro Dzong (fortress) to witness the celebration. On your route to the Dzong, you will pass a traditional wooden bridge. Buddhists honor Guru Rinpoche, the saint who founded Buddhism to Bhutan, during the Paro Festival.  It is one of the most renowned festivals in the nation, featuring many different mask dancing performances. One of the best ways to experience Bhutan’s ancient living culture is via Tshechu (festivals).

Late afternoon drive to Thimphu,

• On the way there, stop by Tachogang Lhakhang (Temple). The bridge leading there is a 15th-century iron suspension bridge.

Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast visit

• Memorial Chorten (Stupa) was built in 1974 in the remembrance of Third King of Bhutan.
• The Buddha Dordenma statue is one of the world’s largest Buddha Rupas.
• Simply Bhutan is a living museum and a photo Studio.

Lunch will be served at a top tourist restaurant in town, followed by a visit.

• National Library of Bhutan, founded 1967, preserves Bhutan’s cultural and religious heritage.
• The Tashichho Dzong (fortress), built on the Wang Chhu riverside in 1641, is the most impressive building in Thimphu.
• Bhutanese Authentic craft street

Day 04: Thimphu – Gangtey Gonpa (Phobjikha valley), (134km, 05 hours)

After breakfast drive to Phobjikha valley through the Dochu-la pass (3,088 m). The highest peaks of the Himalayas are most magnificently visible on a clear day.

• Druk Wangyal Chorten (Temple) at Dochu La/Nature walks

Lunch will be served along the way. The journey continuous towards Phobjikha Valley, valley is suited in a stunning location surrounded by snow-capped mountains and verdant meadows. It serves as the famous Black-necked Cranes’ winter home.

• Gangtey Gonpa (monastery), One of the most well-known and largest Nyingmapa monasteries in the nation, it is situated on a small hilltop surrounded by a sizable settlement.

Stay overnight at Phobjikha.

Day 05: Phobjikha valley – Trongsa (120km, 05 hours)

After breakfast visit Black naked carne information center and explore Phobjikha valley.

Drive to Trongsa, Lunch will be served at Phobjikha Valley or along the way. 

• Trongsa Dzong, built in 1648, is where the crown prince of Bhutan traditionally becomes the Penlop (governor) of Trongsa prior to being crowned king of Bhutan.
• Ta Dzong, built as a watchtower to guard Tongsa Dzong.

Day 06: Trongsa – Bumthang (68km, 03 hours)

After breakfast drives to Bumthang. Followed by a visit.

• Jakar Dzong, the “Castle of the White Bird,” was built in the 17th century.
• Menbar Tsho, or Burning Lake, is the scariest lake in the nation and is thought to grant wishes.
• Take a short hike to Tamshing Lhakhang to reach a structure with fascinating religious Buddhist artwork across the river.

Day 07: Bumthang Sightseeing.

After breakfast, followed by a visit

• Kurje Lhakhang is the shrine of Guru Rinpoche’s body prints, and it is one of the holiest places. 
• Jambay Lhakhang is a historic monastery that the Tibetan ruler built in the 7th century in order to spread Buddhism across the kingdom.
• Daily and Sheep Farm, established as a dairy farm in May 2005 under the NSBC and NHP,
• Bumthang Swiss Cheese is of the same caliber as Swiss cheese from Switzerland.
• Yatha wool weaving center and vegetable dye center.

Day 08: Bumthang – Punakha/Wangdue (205km, 07 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Punakha. Lunch will be served along the way followed by a visit.

• Punakha Dzong, the second oldest fortress, was built in 1637 and situated between the female and male rivers/ (the traditional wooden bridge).
• suspension bridge, one of the longest of its kind in Bhutan.

Day 09: Punakha/Wangdue – Paro (125km, 03 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Paro, followed by a visit.

• On the way, stop in Lobesa and take a short hike to Chimi Temple. It is popularly believed that childless couples who worship at this shrine are typically blessed with a child fairly quickly.

• Royal Botanical Park (lhamperi)
• Airport Bird’s Eye view point.
• Paro Dzong was built in 1646. As you approach the fortress, you will cross a traditional wooden bridge.

Day 10: Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest)

Drive to a hiking location after breakfast. The Taktsang Monastery is perched on a ledge of rock. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche, the second Buddha in Bhutan, is claimed to have arrived in the 8th century flying on the back of a tigress and meditated where Taktsang Monastery currently stands.

Lunch will be served in the town’s top tourist eatery. followed by a visit.

Day 11: Departure

After an early breakfast, drive to Paro airport for a flight to your onward destination.
