Rafting & Kayaking Tour

“White River Rafting” (Mo Chhu, Pho Chhu, and Paro Chhu) invites everyone who is interested in traveling on an adventurous itinerary. With a maximum depth of 5 meters, Bhutan’s rivers are numerous and have strong currents. There are four different levels of rafting in Bhutan. Both the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu rivers can be rafted; the Mo Chhu is approximately 12 km long and can be completed in 5 hours (Tashithang–Below Punakha Dzong); the Pho Chhu, Class III–IV, is approximately 7 km long (from Wangthangkha–Samdingkha) and can be completed in 2 hours; and the Paro Chhu is 10 km long from Bonday–Isuna Bridge (Class III–IV) and can be completed in 3 hours. We will bring you to the rafting start spot, supply a top-notch inflatable raft, a certified professional as your rafting guide, and safety gear, including helmets and jackets. March through May and August through December in Bhutan are the ideal months for river rafting and kayaking.
