Day 01: Arrival – Thimphu (54km, 01 hour)
On arrival at Paro airport, our representative from our company will greet you and assist with a ride to Thimphu. followed by a visit.
Evening freely wandered the city. overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 02: Thimphu – Phobjikha valley (Gangtey Gonpa), (134km, 05 hours)
After breakfast Visit,
Enjoy a ride to Phobjikha valley through the Dochu-la pass (3,088 m). The highest peaks of the Himalayas are most magnificently visible on a clear day.
Explore Phobjikha valley. Overnight stay at Phobjikha.
Day 03: Phobjikha valley – Punakha (87km, 03 hours)
After breakfast, enjoy a ride to the Black Naked Carne information center and explore Phobjikha Valley. Lunch will be served along the way. Drive to Punakha.
Evening freely scrolls around town. Overnight stay in Punakha.
NB: River rafting will be offered in Punakha; however, you are liable for the cost.
Day 04: Punakha – Thimphu (71km, 02 hours)
Enjoy a ride to Thimphu.
Evenings are free for riding and city exploration. Spending the night in Thimphu
Day 05: Thimphu – Haa (112km, 03 hours)
After breakfast, enjoy a ride to Haa Valley, followed by a visit.
Evenings are free for riding and city exploration. overnight stay in Haa.
Day 06: Haa – Chele la pass – Paro (106km, 2½ hours)
After breakfast ride Paro to Paro Via Chilela pass. On a clear day, there is a superb view of Mts. Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake. Followed by visits,
The evenings are free to be spent riding and seeing the city. Haa overnight stay
Day 07: Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest)
Drive to a hiking location after breakfast. The Taktsang Monastery is perched on a ledge of rock. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche, the second Buddha in Bhutan, is claimed to have arrived in the 8th century flying on the back of a tigress and meditated where Taktsang Monastery currently stands.
Lunch will be served in the town’s top tourist eatery. followed by a visit.
Evening freely strolls around Paro. spending the night in Paro.
Day 08: Departure
After an early breakfast, drive to Paro airport for a flight to your onward destination.
