Day 01: Arrival to Paro

Day 02: Paro festival (Tshechu) – Thimphu (54km, 01 hour)
After breakfast, drive to the 1646-built Paro Dzong (fortress) to witness the celebration. On your route to the Dzong, you will pass a traditional wooden bridge. Buddhists honor Guru Rinpoche, the saint who founded Buddhism to Bhutan, during the Paro Festival. It is one of the most renowned festivals in the nation, featuring many different mask dancing performances. One of the best ways to experience Bhutan’s ancient living culture is via Tshechu (festivals).

Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing

Day 04: Thimphu – Gangtey Gonpa (Phobjikha valley), (134km, 05 hours)
After breakfast drive to Phobjikha valley through the Dochu-la pass (3,088 m). The highest peaks of the Himalayas are most magnificently visible on a clear day.
Lunch will be served along the way. The journey continuous towards Phobjikha Valley, valley is suited in a stunning location surrounded by snow-capped mountains and verdant meadows. It serves as the famous Black-necked Cranes’ winter home.
Stay overnight at Phobjikha.
Day 05: Phobjikha valley – Trongsa (120km, 05 hours)
After breakfast visit Black naked carne information center and explore Phobjikha valley.
Drive to Trongsa, Lunch will be served at Phobjikha Valley or along the way.

Day 10: Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest)
Drive to a hiking location after breakfast. The Taktsang Monastery is perched on a ledge of rock. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche, the second Buddha in Bhutan, is claimed to have arrived in the 8th century flying on the back of a tigress and meditated where Taktsang Monastery currently stands.
Lunch will be served in the town’s top tourist eatery. followed by a visit.
