Day 05: Hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery)
After an early breakfast, drive to a hiking spot. The Taktsang Monastery is perched on a ledge of rock. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche, the second Buddha in Bhutan, is claimed to have arrived in the 8th century flying on the back of a tigress and meditated where Taktsang Monastery currently stands.
Lunch will be served in the town’s top tourist eatery. followed by a visit.
