Day 01: Arrival – Thimphu (54km, 01 hour)

On arrival at Paro airport, our representative from our company will greet you and assist in escorting you to Thimphu. followed by a visit.

• On the way there, stop by Tachogang Lhakhang (the temple). The bridge leading there is a 15th-century iron suspension bridge.
• The Tashichho Dzong (fortress), built on the Wang Chhu riverside in 1641, is the most impressive building in Thimphu.

Evening freely wandered the city. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 02: Thimphu

After breakfast, followed by a visit.

• Memorial Chorten (Stupa) was built in 1974 in memory of the Third King of Bhutan.
• The Buddha Dordenma statue is one of the world’s largest Buddha Rupas.
• Simply Bhutan is a living museum and a photo Studio.

Lunch will be served at a premium tourist eatery in town, followed by a visit.

• National Library of Bhutan, founded 1967, preserves Bhutan’s cultural and religious heritage.
• Archery stadium (live witness to the national game of Bhutan)
• Bhutanese authentic craft street

Evenings are free for exploring the city. Overnight Staying in Thimphu

Day 03: Thimphu – Punakha (71km, 2 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochu-la Pass (3,088 m). A clear day offers the most spectacular view over the highest peaks of the Himalayas.

• Druk Wangyal Chorten (Temple) at Dochu La/Nature walks
• along the way, stop in Lobesa and take a short hike to Chimi Temple. It is popularly believed that childless couples who worship at this shrine are frequently rewarded with a child fairly quickly.
• Punakha Dzong, the second oldest fortress, was built in 1637 and situated between the female and male rivers (Traditional Wooden Bridge).
• Suspension bridges: enjoy a scenic walk on Bhutan’s longest bridge of its kind, which links the settlements with the fort.

Day 04: Punakha – Paro (125km, 03 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Paro, followed by a visit.

• Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery is a Buddhist college and meditation center on a grassy site with a friendly community.
• Royal Botanical Park (Lampheri), boasts 125 acres of diverse ecosystems and endemic species.
• Airport Bird’s Eye view point and River side.
• Paro Dzong was built in 1646. As you  approach the fortress, you will cross a traditional wooden bridge.

Day 05: Hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery)

Drive to a hiking spot after breakfast. The Taktsang Monastery is perched on a ledge of rock. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche, the second Buddha in Bhutan, is claimed to have arrived in the 8^th century flying on the back of a tigress and meditated where Taktsang Monastery currently stands.

Lunch will be served in the town’s premium tourist eatery. followed by a visit.

• National Museum (Ta-Dzong), home to one-of-a-kind collections of historical clothing, textiles, Thangkha paintings, and more

Evening freely strolls around Paro. Spending the night in Paro. 

Day 06: Departure

After a breakfast, drive to Paro airport for a flight to your onward destination.
